Cape Wine Newsletter no.12 Cape Wine 2015 Update

Renee Barnard of Wine.co.za has been in contact with you for submission of details for the Cape Wine 2015 catalogue. Note that only 12 wines are allowed on the 2x2m and 3x2m Xanita Stands. Exhibitors who booked Customised stands can have more than 12 wines per stand but only 24 printed in the catalogue, 2 pages. The rest of the wines will be listed on Winelink, or Customised Stand exhibitors can have additional catalogue pages printed at a fee of R1000.00 per page.

Cape Wine Newsletter no.11 #CapeWineConnect Campaign

We are setting the wheels in motion and will be launching the #CapeWineConnect campaign shortly.  This will take the format of short videos of industry personalities answering questions pertaining to themselves and Cape Wine.  The aim is to encourage engagement, get personal and create interest leading up to Cape Wine 2015.  We are working with Thys Lombard on creating a number of videos to keep the ball rolling.



We would like to challenge YOU to join in the conversation by either posting your own short personal response or video clip by using your smart phone.

Cape Wine Newsletter no.9 Reminder: Explore Tasting Area

There will be a space allocated within the Cape Wine hall to highlight the range of quality single  varietal and themed wines for visitors to taste unhindered by distractions on the exhibition floor.   There will be a range of varietals tasted in the morning and the afternoon will focus on themes.  A total of 240 wines will be poured in this tasting area each day.

Cape Wine Newsletter No. 7 Amorim Speakers Corner

The Amorim Speaker’s Corner will be a small interactive space housed in the Cape Wine exhibition hall. This area will seat 20 people in a traditional school room style. This is a platform for exhibitors to share interesting ideas and themes in an informal interactive setting with the focus of encouraging conversation between presenter and guests.

Cape Wine 2015 is organised by Wines of South Africa and delivered to you by DHL Express. DHL Express views the decision to align and support Cape Wine 2015 as a long-term partnership with South Africa’s dynamic wine industry, which is increasingly expanding its global footprint into new markets. Cape Wine is the wine industry’s showpiece; a trade show targeted at international importers, agents, buyers, sommeliers, educators and media. WOSA is working hard to market Cape Wine internationally and will also work with the dti to bring out buyers from emerging markets.
